JESTINA’S STORY

My name is Jestina Boone. I live and work in a suburb of Tulsa. I am mother of five, a model, an athlete, and an obstacle course racer. In 2002, I was injured and, as a result, have permanent nerve damage in my right foot. For many years, I let this hold me back from doing physical activities. In 2014, I had had enough and was ready to overcome the pain and conquer the obstacles in my life. I started my fitness journey as a result of wanting to be a positive role model for my children. I started working out, eating healthy, and then I discovered CTG. I was hooked from day one. I now live for OCRS and anything that challenges myself mentally and physically. I’ve ran multiple CTGs, as well as other races like Tough Mudder. I also run all kinds of road races and other events. I set a personal goal to run twelve different 5ks in 2014, I ended up running 24 that year! Now I know I can do anything I set my mind to, and I can’t wait for 2016! CTG is having a kids race this year, so I am excited to see my kids out there on the course! Come join us and bring the whole family!
